A Day in the Life of a Property Management Professional

Morning Hustle – 7:30 AM

The day begins with a fresh cup of coffee and an immediate check of the emergency maintenance requests that might have come in overnight. At Towne Housing Real Estate, we know that property issues don’t follow a 9-to-5 schedule.

Property Inspections – 9:00 AM

First stop is a commercial property inspection in Buffalo, followed by checking on a rental unit in Cheektowaga. These routine inspections help us maintain our properties’ value and ensure tenant satisfaction.

Maintenance Coordination – 11:00 AM

Back at the office, I spend time coordinating with our network of trusted contractors. Today’s tasks include:
• Scheduling a plumber for a West Seneca property
• Arranging HVAC maintenance in Lackawanna
• Coordinating with handymen for minor repairs in Niagara Falls

Tenant Relations – 1:30 PM

After lunch, it’s time to handle tenant communications. Whether it’s processing rental applications or addressing concerns, maintaining positive relationships with our tenants is crucial for successful property management.

Property Showings – 3:00 PM

The afternoon involves showing available properties to potential tenants in Lockport. Each showing is an opportunity to highlight the quality maintenance and management that Towne Housing Real Estate provides.

End of Day – 5:30 PM

Before heading home, I review tomorrow’s schedule and ensure all maintenance requests have been properly addressed. Property management is a dynamic field that requires constant attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Working in property management means no two days are exactly alike, but that’s what makes this career so rewarding. At Towne Housing Real Estate, we take pride in maintaining properties across Western New York and serving our diverse client base with professionalism and dedication.
